The 'Arena' part of the title refers to the new Arena mode. That's where you'll be able to play online multiplayer matches as either Titans or Knights through Game Center. The update also adds a new Survivor mode where you fight through an endless wave of enemies, almost like a take on Gears of War's Horde mode. Other additions include new holiday helms, over two dozen new items to collect and use, new Facebook integration, new leaderboards, new Achievements, and some other surprises that Chair isn't detailing just yet.
One of the best-looking games on iOS is about to get a slate of new features, including online multiplayer, free of charge. Developer Chair Entertainment has announced it will release the Infinity Blade: Arena pack as a free update on the App Store on Thursday, May 19.
