Alan Wake 2 Appears on Artist's Resume

A mention of Alan Wake 2 has popped up on an artist's LinkedIn profile. A sequel to Alan Wake hasn't been officially announced, though this isn't the first time the game has been hinted at.

It's since been removed, but the page listed "Video Game, 'Alan Wake 2' [In-Game Cinematic]" under the work done for Halon Entertainment during April 2011. Halon is the same company responsible for the Deliver Hope trailer for Halo: Reach.

Developer Remedy's Oskari Hakkinen said last year that Microsoft has the option to pick up a sequel and that he didn't "see why they wouldn't. We're happy with the partnership and they're happy with the game." He also suggested a sequel would be developed much more quickly than the first Alan Wake, which was in development for five years.
