Microsoft gave a video preview of Windows 8 today.
Here are some screen shots clipped from the video Microsoft posted on YouTube introducing Windows 8.
The start screen looks like Windows Phone with large tiles that are easier to poke on a touchscreen than the traditional Windows icons.

It will multitask applications on the same screen, which competing tablets cannot do now.

The touch keyboard can be split on either side for tablets.
