Microsoft shared a surprise announcement at CES this year: Torchlight is coming to Xbox Live Arcade. The game is being published by Microsoft itself, and will be part of a group of games to be released starting on February 16. These games include a high-definition version of Beyond Good and Evil and PopCap's Bejeweled Blitz Live. The version of Torchlight coming to the 360 has been tweaked and improved for consoles, and Ars Technica had a chance to talk with Runic Games to discover what has been changed, why the game isn't coming to the PS3, and what this means for the future of Torchlight 2.
