Humble Indie Bundle surpasses $1 million, introduces Steam keys

The second edition of the Humble Indie Bundle is in full swing, and with less than a week to go, it has already surpassed the $1 million mark. To celebrate, those who purchase the bundle will now also be able to activate the games on Steam.

"Steam has agreed to let bundle purchasers activate their Humble Indie Bundle 2 games on Steam," Wolfire's John Graham told Ars. "Braid, Osmos, and Machinarium can be activated right now and Steam told us that the keys get users a subscription so that they can add Cortex Command and Revenge of the Titans to their accounts when the games become available on Steam later."

At the time of writing the bundle has been purchased by more than 150,000 users, for a total of $1,162,378 (and growing) in revenue. The average paying user has spent $7.42 on the games, while the biggest spender dropped $3,141.59. There's just over five days left in the pay-what-you-want sale, so you can still head over to the official site if you want to get in on the action.
