Today in Gaming - 2/3/11

Sony doesn't have much luck keeping things under wraps, and the 'PlayStation Phone,' which is actually going to be called the Xperia Play, is no exception. There have been countless leaks, with the latest being a TV commercial where the Android mascot has thumbs surgically attached to be able to play games on the phone. An official announcement is forthcoming, but it doesn't seem like there's really going to be all that much left to even announce.

Other highlights from today's news:

  • A boy who fell onto railway tracks while playing PSP was saved by a police officer.
  • DICE has announced that two Battlefield projects it had in the works for PC have been canceled.
  • Undead Labs isn't coming out with its dream MMO just yet, but it does have a game coming to XBLA.
  • MTV Games has been shut down for good.
