Microsoft is still accounting for its employees in Japan following Friday's 8.9 earthquake and tsunami. The company does not yet know whether any workers in Japan were injured or possibly killed.
The company has activated its Disaster Response team. Here is a statement from the company Friday morning:
"We are saddened by the devastation caused by the earthquake in Japan. Microsoft has activated its Disaster Response team and is currently accounting for all our employees. Microsoft is also reaching out to local government, inter-government and non-government agencies to support relief efforts."
